I've purchased the subframe upgrade kit, the rear rack, and the extender plate for the rear rack. I've got a Rotopax I want to put on the back, and this should work nicely. The rack has holes pre-drilled for the Rotopax, and the extension plate has a hole shaped like the Rotopax mount so it looks like you can just slide it on right over the Rotopax mount. The subframe is a bit of a known weak spot with these bikes - basically the plastic fuel tank is the subframe, and it can wear out the bushings for the bolts that fasten it to the main frame.

I'll keep everyone posted as to the service, fit, and finish of these. So far the experience has been good - I received an email directly from the guy letting me know he would be shipping at the end of next week. The guy is in Serbia, so it could take a while to get the stuff here. There are good reports on ADV Rider (which is how I found this). Price seems reasonable if the product is anywhere near the quality of the photos on the website.

Kind of cool how cheap 690 accessories seem to be. They are certainly cheaper than anything was for my Honda. I'm thinking I should also reinforce my tank.

Rob, the aftermarket fuel tanks for the 690 are decidedly NOT inexpensive! Around $800 for the Safari, though it does give you a total capacity of 26 L.

Got my stuff from Perun yesterday (the stuff had to come from Serbia, so it took a little while to get here). Unpacked it all to make sure it was all there. Everything looks good. All the fasteners are included. Not only does the stuff look very durable, the finish on it is excellent too. I'm impressed so far.

Can't wait to install it on the bike!

Nice, durable lookin rack.

It is designed specifically to hold a Rotopak mount, or other stuff. The biggest problem is the strength of the mounts for the 690 rear rack. The best info I can find says 5 to 7 kg load max, which is just enough for a 2 gallon Rotopax. All your gear will have to go on the seat then.

Still a nice design.

Nice looking haul. I'm still not sure what direction I will go with my 690 regarding more fuel capacity or cargo. Mine did come with the quick release tailbag so I'm reluctant to put something else on there as this thing looks pretty handy.
