I bought these at a garage sale worth every penny SDI Vertigo boots. I think they are some kind of street racing boot the guy said but I like how light they are and they protect my ankle and lower leg too.. Only downside is sometimes I'll have to bring extra shoes or sandals cuz they're not really good for anything other then riding lol

Axxis Motorsports is advertising 50% off on Tourmaster gear right now.

was at Axxis today, picked up a sweet pair of riding pants, lots of jackets on the shelves as well. Safety Stu

I stopped there earlier today, couldn't find a jacket that fit good. Either too small or too big

Hey nice bike choice with the CRF250L, great value. I had a 2014 as well, I would just recommend don't be tempted to do the stage upgrades, better off saving the money for when you want to upgrade to a more powerful bike, as I don't think the mods made a huge difference for what they cost. They definitely made it look cooler though. I do miss it though as it was was an awesome tight trail bike. I have a tourmaster transition 3, https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/32 ... cle-Jacket, it's good from just below 0 to all the way to 30c as long as you are running fast if it is hot out. 3 things I love about it are the - Removable Liner - Armor - Used within one week of buying - Vents - Lot's of vents!

I would go for a textile (very durable cloth) with zippered vents, and waterproof/breathable membrane if you can afford it. Good gear is an investment that will get you out riding more weather conditions and save your skin for years or riding. You are less likely to wear cheap uncomfortable gear, which makes it a waste of money (bad investment).

Thanks, Intrepid! Klim is probably the highest quality, but its extremely $$$. FirstGear is a better value for armored waterproof breathables. I have Klim shells that I use over Fox armor for sledding and off road, and FirstGear padded touring gear for the long (strictly touring) rides.
