Just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with ASV brake and clutch levers, or if you guys are using and other types other then stock ones. Looking to get a set of shorter levers for the DRZ.

I have Midwest levers will be here anyday It will be 50% easier to pull.. Stock are fine to pull but why not make it easier.. Less fatigue http://www.midwestme.com/pages/product.html

yeah, it took me a long time to stop using my whole hand like a street bike. I put FP racing levers on my 990 and I can one finger them but I typically use two fingers.

Thanks for the replys guys.Those midwest levers look like they would be great, but my bike doesn't have a hydraulic clutch. I still catch myself using 3 fingers once and a while but most of the time its two. Definitely going to be ordering some new ones soon, just have to decide which ones.

There is a mod for the drz that swaps the clutch lever on the engine with the one from the dr650 it's suppose to be either lighter or less length of pull
Look into it.

I'm guessing the DR 650 would have a harder pull, so they'd have put a longer lever on the engine side of the clutch cable. Therefore putting this lever on a DRZ400 should make the pull longer but easier.

I checked into it yesterday and from what I have found the DRZ400 clutch lever on the motor end is longer then the DR650 and guys have been using the DRZ lever on the DR. Apperciate the input guys.
