I've carried a KLR on my gimped, unmodified carrier. It can handle it.
It's rated for 500lbs.

Just got back from Princess auto. They have 18 of the carriers in stock. The lady i spoke with said the sale does not officially start till tuesday. But did mention that monday during the day the sale price will be posted on the items so they will honor sale price at that point. She also mentioned there has been much interest in them suggesting they will sell fast.

I have never used one of these. Could you load a bike with one guy pretty easy or is a two man job? What length of tie down do you use with one of these, I think it looks like a handy way to move your motorcycle,just want to get the right straps etc. Thanks for any advice!!
