I had to get something to store more stuff for the ride next week in the mountains.
Got the Wolfman E12 bags. 22L capacity for both
was going to get giant loop but dont think they are worth double the price

I'm currently using these on my klr. Doused them with a waterproof spray and they've been fine. I find them to be a perfect size and I got them for under 200$ on ebay. The fact that I can squeeze a sixpack in with the gear I put in there is a bonus....

I was looking at those earlier this year over the giant loop also. Thanks for the pics. I might go this way with the ability to still put whatever bag I want or need too on top of the rear as well.

I ordered these from Dual Sport Plus, they are 38 litres. I see the E12s there at $145 so once you pay freight probably cheaper at Rec Supply, I never even thought to call them when I was looking.

Might be a nice option for the 690... I'll have to think about it. Could put my 49 L Ortlieb across the top. It looks like you can still access those bags with something set on top of them cause the zippers are on the sides near the top, not right on top.
Let us know how they do out west this week.

Does rec supply have a good stock of wolfman luggage? I could use a tail bag for my husky tr. Sounds like they have pretty good prices! Road trip from moose jaw would be fun.

mostly order bags i think
took 2 days to get mine
so far these bags worked good for the hard terrain we did last few days
