Are they chewing up your side panels or decals at all? I have had bags rub on the plastic and dull it and scratch it a bit.

Hi Chris, I know lots of guys use the 3M clear protectant film on their tanks and side panels to protect them when they use a tank bag or saddle bag style luggage. I do not have any yet, but am going to get some off the internet or at the local auto parts store and give it a try before I get a tank bag.
