incase anyone else is anal about tire pressure

i was looking for this for my air shock on my sled so i dont loose air when u remove a normal air chuck

so u screw it on valve and open the core with the little handle and fill to what u want and close the core back up. no air loss



can get it with gauge or gauge and hose if u want


my pump has a gauge on it so i just got the end. got mine from amazon

Maybe sleds are different, but I thought motorcycle shocks were filled with pure nitrogen at a pressure of around 375 psi. If you fill a motorcycle shock with an air compressor you can't get the pressure you need (most compressors run to 125 psi or so), and you get oxygen and water vapour into the shock, which will cause internal corrosion.

The forks also often have air fittings on many bikes, but these are supposed to be used to equalize the pressure, as far as I know. You shouldn't run with any air pressure in the forks because it can blow seals.

Am I wrong about this?

A lot of bike manufacturers recommend air pressure ranges for the forks eg: '86-'94 concours. That's just one of them.

Ya u just release the pressure on the top of the fork once in a while

I have to put 190-300 psi in my sled shock depending what im doing

My fox pump goes to 300psi

put a leader hose on it to make it easier if filling it on the machine
