I'd bet that 390 Adventure would do 150 on the highway in stock trim. Should be able to cruise at 120 anyway, but it'll be working at that over the course of a day.
Would be a good bike for something like the Great Divide Ride, where you're on gravel/dirt almost all the way anyway.

The 390 has a sweet engine. 390 Duke... the Indian review, they love that bike in India.
Has lots of power, this guys easily hit well over 160.

Photoshop of course but interesting concept! http://www.motorbeam.com/bikes/ktm/ktm- ... ndia-2015/This image is from KTM 390 Adventure Facebook page. Quote from Facebook: "“We’re also developing a so called dual purpose or dual-sport version of each model (Duke 200 and 390), which I would say is a mix between Supermoto and Enduro. These will appear next, all made at the Bajaj factory in Chakan (Pune, Maharashtra),” said Pierer..."

Cool bike, I sure hope that soon enough more manufacturers catch on and start producing lighter more capable adventure bikes.

New info on the Africa Twin:
Potential specs reported by Motorrad describe a new Africa Twin with a 1000cc Parallel-Twin instead of a V-Twin (apparently for cost saving purposes). The engine output would be around 100 hp with a dry weight of 397 lb (180 kg) and price tag of roughly $13,800 US. The bike would ride on a 21″ front wheel and 17″ rear, with 9.8 inches (250 mm) of suspension travel.
The design is described as more off-road focused than the KTM 1190 R, BMW F800GS or XTZ660 Tenere, but not quite as dirt oriented as the KTM 690 Enduro R. It’s expected to use a special off-road ABS like the one found on the Dakar Rally production racer as well.

the specs look great... hoping we'll see a few more bikes that fill this niche in the near future.
