Buddy, friend of a friend...
Is posted in Germany and is unable to get to a KLIM Shop to try on Pants before ordering them as different brands have different sizes and the like.
As the Post indicates Wayne stands 5'11, tips the scales at 270 with a 38-40 inch waist and a 30 inch Inseam.
Anybody here "Close" to those measurements care to share their KLIM pant sizes? What works well? Please reply with the Size of Pant, as well as the Model (Mohjave / Badlands / Latitude etc...)
Thanks in advance....

I'd make sure from a tape measure, rather than what pants you fit into in North America. Was just in England and in need of dress pants, and I normally fit into a 36" waist in Canada with room to spare, over there i could barely get the button snapped.

He will be ordering from the U.S.A. There's no place to get them where he is apparently....

In Germany he should look at the Touratech gear, maybe a lot cheaper in Europe than Klim?

I just purchased some Klim Mojave pants. I can confirm the sizes are pretty accurate according to their size chart. I had the same problem with no local stuff to try so I called klim first to discuss size before ordering online. I went with a 36 for my 36.5" waist and it fits well. It's a little on the relaxed fit side as it fits 36"-38" which allows me to wear knee braces and hip pads if I want. I could probably go down one size (34 which is my normal street clothes size) for a more snug fit if I was never going to wear padding underneath. Your friend's 38-40" waist should match the size 38 well. Hope this helps.

Dude is from the States, working over in Germany for the DOD. Don't over think it He's used to North American sizing etc... So his 38 is a North American 38 Good thoughts though.. There is a signifigant difference between the markets and how the label / size things.

I am close to those measurements. But I do not own any Klim pants I wish I did!
