Moving back to BC shortly and rushing to get my CRF450x plated so I can switch it over to ICBC. I've installed a Tusk dual-sport kit and have a Vapor gauge cluster, DOT legal XCMH rubber. The local SGI place insured me back in August for a month and gave me a plate, with a 'mandatory' inspection. I'm hoping I can go back there and renew without the inspection blocking the process, but I'm planning for the worst. I've seen the SGI list of what's needed. I'm way the hell up north though, so I don't want to drive to Saskatoon only to have the bike fail inspection. Anyone have any experience with Saskatoon-are shops that would be recommended to be more willing to pass a bike that 'barely' meets the requirements?

Try Brent Shury in North Battleford at MxOnly. I can't say whether or not he'll pass you but he seemed like he might be sympathetic.
