Hi everyone . I'm looking to purchase a klr this fall but I am unsure if I should look at new or get some advice on what to look for with a used one.

Not sure if you are interested but I plan on getting the Vstrom posted for sale this weekend at $3,500, 70,000 kms, lots farkles/suspension upgrades etc. More details will be in the flea market post.

I loved my KLR. They can take a lot of punishment and then perk right up with a bit of tlc. Good luck in your search!

The guy I bought from had every mod on it. It had the big bore 705cc piston and a Vance and Hines pipe. Those two things gave it a lot of snap. Easiest of the two would obviously be the pipe, plus it made it sound really cool.  Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk

A big bore kit would be sweet. I read they give about an extra 10 hp. Did you have any issues using oil like the stock engine does?

K, no worries. If you were heading up to toon town, we could b.s. over a few KLR'S in Safety Stu garage or my garage.
Solid bike, a little heavy but takes all the abuse you can give it.
