Anyone got a recommendation for quick release straps?
I think the only 2 riders I've seen with it are Safety Stu and BaroqueJa.
I love the idea, but the one I'm looking at uses velcro, and that never lasts, especially in the dirt.

You'd need a helmet with hard points to mount to. I've only seen that on kevlar helmets as a rail system (and I guess the airsoft/paintball inspired copies); nothing remotely DOT/Snell of course.
I'd be very, very uncomfortable redoing something like the chin strap rivets to accept a hard mount/rail.
Really, I am kinda surprised with the popularity of GoPros nobody seems to make a helmet with something like rails or hard mounts, least not that I know of.

Actually the Velcro works really well even in the dirt. I used them for years.
