Yes I know they r making the 400 ninja, man that would be a nice verseys engine. Ktm is also dragging it feet about the bike I been waiting for,the ktm390 adventure. I am just not sure I can wait another year.

Sounds like a great bike from the reviews, the only things that’s a bit of a minus is the 32 inch seat height, that seems like it might be a bit cramped. Wonder if you could retrofit it to 18 and 21 inch tires.

I really like the bmw 310 gs motor design, but the mag wheels and small gas tank are deal breakers for me.

These new fuel injector 300cc + engine sure can go. The new KTM 390 can hit close to 180.
Ducati also makes a sweet 399cc twin, 41 hp but not off road enough for you maybe. Too bad Ducati doen't make a dual sport using that engine, something between the 800cc Desert sled and a 1200/1260 Multistrada Adventure.
Scrambler 400
Scrambler 400 with Touratech accessories.
The 800 Desert Sled is more off road focus than the 400 scrambler.

Thanks for the vids Eric, like looking at the options. That 390 ktm looks frickin fast,again too bad they don't offer a adventure model. The scramblers I am not sure I could hang on to offroad, but looks fun. I will probably go with the verseys and see how it goes. There are some luggage options, rear rack, likely a 400k range and can ride some offroad as well with the right tires.
