Honda makes a cbr 300 now so I'm now sure why they didn't make the Rally a 300, 30+hp vs 24hp

Yeah I don't understand why Honda would not put that engine in the rally. I ended up buying the verseys 300, its in a crate so be a few days before I get it. I sprung for the centre stand and the factory usb hardware, thinking about mounting some shinkos 804 tires and prob a skid plate.

Awesome, yeah do an unboxing vid Doug! I really found the Tractionator Desert H/T to be really good and long wearing on road. I preferred the TKC 80's but they seemed to wear out really fast.

Congrats on the new bike.  Now you have a few months to seat around in your garage, drink beer, maybe start your camping stove and cook yourself a meal, look at your new bike and dream about next summer rides.  I never did that before!
