How does 20k sq feet translate in comparison to their other stores? The one I have been in before (Calgary and Winnipeg) felt huge but that might be the tall ceilings like a Costco/Walmart/Cabelas. I know Sears was no small store but the two floors/low roof made it feel smaller than it likely was.

lame that its going down there. we never go there. parking sucks

Its going in the food court area, sears is under major construction to move the foodcourt upstairs in that space - it will make security easier and keep the undesirables out of the food court while increasing foot traffic by the upstairs stores. The food court needed a facelift anyway and this will help the flow of the mall.

Pretty cool. The parking sucks everywhere in saskatoon though, since everyone owns 5 cars. I always can find a place somewhere near enough to park on the west side of midtown, however.
So the foodcourt in not going to be in the centre of the mall? It's going to be way at the end? That's kind of strange.
