So im new here also. At this time i don't have a Dual sport. Been seriously contemplating getting 1. would be nice to ride to the farm everyday. (located 25 mins east of saskatoon on #5). I have an older 93 XR250r fresh rebuild(finished last week). Also an Crf230f. i kinda like the air cooled eng since we tend to drive them thru the field on the farm (crop checking). For that reason rads scare me since they would get completely matted with plant material. My farming life takes up a large portion of my summer. But I am really looking forward to catching a few of these rides this summer. just hope there is room for me.

Not sure yet...... Anything i should watch our for would be appreciated? I would lean towards something with good rough road ability. i been searching out of province I'm just wondering if the same rules apply to importing bikes from out of province as cars and trucks. Such as safety inspection. Limited selection of used bikes in sask.

I dId see it there. I went to FFun today sat on a klr650. I could rest my toes flat on the ground. I'm 5'7 165lbs. From my research the Klr seems to be the lowest saddle height. Anyone got inFo on this? I'm also guessing won't be long before bike prices jump up.

Hey Jester...I work in a bike shop and you do not need a safety bringing a bike to Sask. most other provinces require but not us !!!

hey Jester. For what its worth, I'm 5'7'' with 30 inch inseam and I couldn't dream to put either right or left toes down at a stop sitting on a KLR but the DR I have no problem. Maybe the DR sag's a bit more?? Don't know if that helps or not.
