Hi guys, just started lurking around and decided to register. I have been racing and riding around here for over 40 years and still can't stop! I have a few buddies on this Site already and I am kinda instrumental in the Saskatoon Icerats group. Hope to see you around, thanks!

Welcome to the forum, badvinny. After seeing you guys rip around on the ice last weekend, I've been thinking about getting ice tires or studs to do some winter trail riding. Was wondering if the tires you guys use for ice racing would be overkill for riding stuff like skidoo trails or would studding a set of tires myself be better? How much does a set of those ice tires cost anyway?

Maybe a bit overkill, anything off ice ruins and hem for iceracing so I would recommend a used set which go anywhere from $200-$450 usually, $860 for new shipped to your door.
