Congrats on the new bike! There's nothing like riding that new bike for the first time, but then comes the inevitable "It'll never be this clean again" and the infamous first scuff from a fall etc. Just remember that if you get it scuffed and dirty that just means you're riding it right!
Enjoy. Hopefully we can hook up for a ride this summer.

Thanks all. I actually rode it through a puddle yesterday and now its dirty. adds character. I was up early this morning fitting my Giant loop bag and tent and the rest of my camping gear. and rigged up and tested my platypus water bag. Then I set up my new tent in the back yard and lay down in my tent lol. I have 400k on the new bike now. It still has that new bike smell to it. I'm hoping the TCAT ride scheduled for june 20 weekend is still on?? I plan to ride and camp to Regina May 25 weekend. Pitch the tent in Milestone. I also plan on doing the ride for Dad in the Toon on June 15. anybody else riding in that?? I'm looking forward to meeting up with as many our our group as possible over the summer. Cheers Timbits
