http://www.eicma.it/en/From Nov 7-10. I'm looking forward to see what new bikes will be coming out for 2014. Read rumors about a bmw 900 twin base on the Husqvarva 900 Nuda. Husqvarna was owned by BMW and was sold to KTM in spring of 2013 but not sure what they will do with the 900 engine base on the F800GS. Also hoping to see a new mid size twin from KTM... a few rumors on the internet. Also some rumors of a new 2014 Honda Africa Twin: Any other rumors please post pics

is the 800ish KTM adventure twin any more of a reality now? Is that just another photoshop job or... ? Seems that its been a rumor for more than a few years now. I really hope they actually make it - sounds like the perfect bike

Pretty sure it is a photoshop. Lot of website talking about a 790 or 890. I was hoping KTM would do something with the Nuda 900 engine but I think BMW will. Same weight has the 800 but with 105 hp vs 80 hp. KTM wants to be the largest motorcycle manufacturer by 2017 so lots of new model coming out in the next few years. They have a 1190 and a 1290 and now they need a new middle weight engine... they have to, and hopefully this year.

I usually try to hit the Calgary Motorcycle Show (I lived there for 10 years, so I'm a lot more familiar with Calgary and their show than Edmonton's).
I will probably try to hit it again this year if anyone's interested. Usually the first weekend after New Year's.
Not trying to intrude on your trip to Edmonton, but if the Edmonton dates don't work for someone or something like that Calgary might be an option. Plus we can hook up with some of the Calgary ADSMC members for a visit too, potentially.
If interested let me know - I won't be offended if you prefer to go to Edmonton instead.

Would love to meet up again, Timmy! The Calgary and Edmonton shows are about the same size. However, there are some exhibitors that actually just alternate between the two instead of attending both every year, so every second year Edmonton's is the smaller one and every other year Edmonton's is the bigger one. Unfortunately I can't remember which year is which now... I was at the Calgary show two years ago (Jan 2012) and it seemed a bit smaller than usual, so maybe it is Edmonton's that would be bigger this year. Missed the shows altogether last year.
