The new Africa Adventure Sport gets a bigger tank(24lt) but it’s also a bit heavier, 535 to 556lbs with DCT.

5 extra ltrs of fuel and the additional tank size will be the weight difference, this is a good thing as lots were adding the camel tanks anyways

I should never have looked at the Guzzi V85 as that is really interesting me now as well. I rode a Stelvio a few years back and really liked it except for the bulk, it looked huge but did not feel near as bad as it looked. The V85 has certainly dealt with that issue. Not sure when it will get to market though. The T7 is not going to happen till next year now so back to waiting on a few of the options. And yes the AT is definetly an option.
The Vstrom will be doing the June trip regardless or which way I go.
