It is a great area. The start of this ride report covers a lot of the area from Pine Cree over to Elkwater viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1261. I stopped at the campround east of Reesor Lake last year and yes it would be a great spot as mentioned, very private, right on the creek for some trout fishing. Grayburn Gap road exits right there so ample access to lots of great riding. I have a wedding Oct long weekend but other than that I would be there.

I was thinking about the second weekend in July (same time we did last year) and keep the North Trip to mid September?
Just a thought, I know some have plans already, but throwing it out.

That's so funny! We were just talking at Regina Beach this weekend tht we should have the South meets North camping trip in Cypress Hills this year!! I agree, October is too late. I was in Elk Water last Aug 20 and it was ten degrees colder than Medicine Hat was; a cold damp 3 degrees. Besides, October is so far away!
