May long weekend we went to Glendive Montana. This was my first ride in 20 years on a bike with less than 3 hours on it. We had great weather and some of the locals came out to ride with us and show us around. We had up to 14 bikes trying to follow each other in a maze of single tracks and spectacular scenery. Awesome! Looks like a great place to ride. I'll have to put it on my list...

Nice to have locals to show you around - you get all the best trails then. Do you know people down there or did you just happen to run into them out there?

When we went in to buy our trail permit ($5) the bike shop owner called them and said a bunch of old guys are heading out to ride. They came out and showed us around and have stayed in touch ever since.

That's really cool the locals came out and showed you around.
