looks like an amazing ride Calltrex... that hill looks insane. Don't know if I'd have gone down unless I was sure there was a way through.. coming back up that would be impossible

369km today

Was a late day today. Went up to a cool old mine. We crawled inside to have a look.

We're heading back for the day and the one trail we took through mountains became impassible because of snow.

Took a different way which was really awesome..

So didn't get back to fernie till 11:30 at night.

Went to a different pass. Some snow but managed to get through snow and up to halfway. took a while and we too a break. was some guys riding behind us. They didnt follow us up and they turned around.

We then went to the top as we ran into the quaders at top. I guess i should say its Not a pass but a lookout

One of our guys asked them if the were going down the rock fall. "NOOOOOOO"

Next thing i know were are going down this crazy steep long rock wash. Had to get off bike at first because it was steep. Got back on bikes barely. There was no letting hand off either brakes the rest of the 1000ft im guessing and engines off. The last 200ft were through trees. glad i had my good handguards

We knew there was a log trail with our gps so we crossed a few creeks and eventually got to it.

Went to nearest town to get gas and eat.

We stayed at Wasa lake. Nice place.

Good breakfast at the local shop. Going to be a long day

We then headed up to a old closed mine. Awesome snake trail all the way up. Some parts of trail washed away with rocks so there were some scary sections with a long way down if you loose your balance on the loose rocks.

Dont know much about mines but there was a long wood shoot. not sure what you do with it.

The entrance to the mine is almost buried from the rubble coming down. We all crawled in through the hole to check it out.. Cant go very far because its flooded with water. unless u want to get your boots wet.

Near the mine was this cool pond

then went on to the next adventure through the mountains

Stopped at a natural Hot springs just off a dirt road. have to hike up 100ft. friends were there before so they knew where it was. day was getting late so we didnt go in. The creek right beside is cold so you could have cold beer while sittting in the hot springs.

our next route was to go over another pass which took a while to get to ended up being not passable because of the snow. so we had to go all the way back and go a different way.
