I'm getting ride of my Owyhee aluminum panniers. I heard a few horror stories about hard panniers. Im not one to take it easy and with my luck I'll be the next one to break a leg with these.
Having said that. If anyone wants these type of panniers let me know.
The mounting frame for the panniers bolts directly to the frame of my 2010 KLR650. The pannier frame may bolt to any year of KLR but that would require more investigation. If someone is interested in the panniers without the frame i would consider that as an option as well. They would also come with 8 of the happy trail aluminum pannier mounts and as far as paint goes im pretty sure that they are the powder coated, kind of a textured look in a grey/silver color. The panniers can be mounted and dismounted w/o any tools in less than a minute.
The guy i purchased the bike from said he only used them on 1 trip to banff. Beside a few minor surface scratches they are like new.
