Man, that's the type of riding I like. Prairie exploration with some cool hills - truck trails - rocks - awesome views - finding your way across no-man's-land.
Looks like a great ride!

I have been meaning to get out there to the sunken hill and sand castle. Maybe tmr evening I will head out there. This time of year is nice cause there is no one around to bother you. Most ranchers do not tolerate motorcycles.

Nice video John, looks like a great scenic place to explore. The rivers have alot of great terrain for riding.

Used to have a cabin at Prairie Lake Regional Park, she is pretty rugged country out there. Lots of cactus to bite your tires. Used to ride around Snakebite coulee quite a bit as well.
How was it for access around the sand castles? Seems to be a little more no tresspassing signs all the time now.

We need to get that all opened up to STREET LEGAL vehicles - then the quad guys and the dirt bikers can't ruin it for us.
From what I understand there is a buffer zone all the way around the lake that is imposed by the Provincial Government to give room for the lake level to fluctuate. Maybe we could get permission to ride that without having to deal with guys like the psycho farmer in Ken's video....

nice pictures John. I tried to get down there in a jeep last year but couldn't find a way in. I wanted to fly the quadcopter around it and get some nice shots. There was a rancher or farmer by the one gate that I thought would take me close to it and he was watching me suspiciously.
