Was a Maintenance Manager for the SWP area working out of Rosetown from 1989 to 1998 so that was all part of my area, got some awesome hunting trips in on the river islands south of Lacadena and Plato

yes people have trouble believing how many birds are in the area every fall

We did a lot of deer hunting down there both archery and rifle, an amazing place, I can remember sitting in the tree stand along the river and huge flocks of geese coming flying just above my head. Mule deer Whitetail, birds, coyotes, bobcat, chickens, the islands are an amazing place but I know access is getting harder now.

Lookin good, wow two different worlds, we were -17 this morning with a foot of snow left in the fields and ditches all level full.

Swift Current Creek starts around Eastend, thru swift current then north to diefenbaker lake,some nice scenery along it and deep coulees at the end.

Doesn't look like there is much runoff from the snow melt. Is it dry there?
