It doesn't quite weigh as much as a gs but I did try to ride it up the ramp with authority :P

Aah. That's why. Too much forward momentum. You broke it by pushing forward on the ramp, not down.

Never thought of that, but I'll sure think twice from now on about riding up a ramp, particularly a cheap one, with any speed.
