Good job. I used spring compresser on the razer's shocks and it was a little scary and scratched the paint. Sent from my SGH-I547C using Tapatalk |

Awesome tutorial Kelly. I'm sure you notice a big difference with the stiffer spring! Although you should have just got an orange spring... one that's already attached to a KTM 690 Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk |

The thing about orange is that once you've tasted 67 HP from your 690 single you can't go back to your 43 HP KLR - it is amazing how gutless it feels. If you want to stick with a KLR don't ride a 690... my 2 cents. Now if they would put the Versys twin in the KLR chassis - that would be a bike worth purchasing! |

The KLR's weight and poor suspension are still Achilles heels. Don't get me wrong, I love my KLR, but I think I've now reached/overextended its capacity. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk |

Kawaski needs to upgrade the KLR to fuel injection and ABS(with off-road mode) for an extra $1000. At that price they would still sale lots of them and maybe even more of them. I'm thinking that even more riders would look at it with these 2 upgrade. But it sill needs a fork brace, new springs and heavier oil up front and a new sping/shork outback! I would love to try a 2017 KLR650 with all the kit mentioned above. |
