Invariant and I got out for a bit of a ride yesterday morning. It was pretty mucky, but it's good practice to ride that stuff once in a while. Plus it was a lot better than sitting in the office.
Here's some video. I was trying to keep up with Invariant the whole time, so I won't be in many of his shots and he's in almost all of mine!

man that mud was crazy... its all dried on my bike like cement now. I'll need a hammer and chisel to clean it

No kidding! I went straight to the carwash after the ride and I was glad I did. It still took $7 to get it all off even when it was still fairly wet!

pretty much anything that wasn't pavement was that mud.. I guess we were hoping it would have dried up since the last time we tried

It's good practice riding in that stuff once in a while. If I'm halfway to Cypress and it starts pouring rain while I'm on 20 miles of dirt road I'll be a bit better at handling it!

As long as it is not like this weekend was down there, snowed hard all day at my brothers house to the point the trees were starting to break from the weight of the snow

What's funny is that when I was running the ADSMC rides to Cypress from Calgary we always did it on the last weekend in May... they'd have had fun this year!  Go away rain and winter!
