Now with the rcmp having license plate scanners on some units.... you have no choice but to pay the man to use the queens road.

I don't like the idea of Big Brother watching, but I think it's coming eventually whether we like it or not. I do know that dual-sports will present unique problems with this though. SGI talked about "Geo-fencing" so they would know you were off-road, but they would technically have to geo-fence every road in the Province outside of cities and towns. Sounds like a lot of work.
This all seems like a lot of hassle to save cage drivers $6 per year on their insurance.

Yup - and if i don't get out of bed in the morning my risk of dying by falling down the stairs is much lower. Sucks to live in a bed though. Just ask anyone who is bedridden!
I wonder when people will start accepting the fact that life is not guaranteed and that in order to have a reasonable quality of life you have to accept that there is some risk to you and your loved ones.
