xmas weather blues, half the time it was too cold for sledding. we booked a quick getaway to vegas where the Bandit is tucked in. One week ride, Lake Havasu, Joshua Tree , PalmDesert,Julian, Oceanside ca, Glamis...etc, a big loop. The weather was INCREDIBLE, even for that area at this time of year. Flew back to Edmonton on Jan 4th to the Big Freeze, took half hour to dig out the car, and home to Maidstone by 5 am. this weather is getting me down already...just booked to go for next ride mid feb. This tme the other couple are also heading down for a ride on their wing sharing storage with the Bandit. This storage thing is great. note... the Klr and Paula's 230 honda are getting lonely up at the lake. Have to get up there and visit them. poor babies.
can't figure out how to add comments to pics??? 1. coming out of storage for a week. charging the battery on john's Wing 2. cheap room in vegas. next to Circus circus...walking distance to bike storage 3. Parker dam south of Lake Havasu along Colorado river 4.Glamis dunes. insane quad, dune buggy paradise 5. Hell's Kitchen... bike bar on twisties on Ortega road in so cal 6. start of Joshua Tree National Park... road gets twisty soon 7. Oatman on old Route 66

Oh I am soooo JEALOUS!! Looks like a nice ride.
When the kids are out of the house I'm going to do this. Only about 15 more years to go...

15 years is when they may start moving back in!!! But on the upside they may want to go riding with you.

yeah mine still ride with me or sled...about once a year each. mine are 27 and 30 , one has an old klr of mine and the other has my old concours. the only problem (?) is that they are at the busy times in their lives, and I now have time...hehehe....
